About Jack

A talented professional, Jack has spent over 10 years in the legislative, political & communications world.

Currently, Jack works as the Director of Federal Government Relations for the American Chiropractic Association, representing over 15,000 independent businessmen providing chiropractic care to over 30 million patients annually.  Further, Jack is Chairman of PARCA, the primary non-MD/DO provider coalition representing over 800,000 healthcare providers in Washington, DC.

Previously, Jack served Congressman Jerry Weller (R-IL) in many roles. As his top legislative aide on the Committee on Ways and Means, where Mr. Weller was the Ranking Member of the Income Support and Family Security Subcommittee (Also known as the Human Resources Subcommittee), Jack contributed to passage of landmark bipartisan child-welfare and foster care legislation. Further, he successfully managed Congressman Weller’s 2006 re-election, garnering a ten point landslide for Mr. Weller.

While on Mr. Weller’s staff, Jack was recognized for his outstanding work with Community Health Centers, receiving the National Association of Community Health Centers Distinguished Congressional Staff Award in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 – one of few Congressional Staff to have received this award 4 times. Additionally, Jack helped save 500 jobs in peril of being cut due to an IRS program and led roundtable discussions on U.S./China trade relations and U.S. manufacturing on delegation trip to China.

Prior to his service with Congressman Weller, Jack served on the staff of the Committee on Ways and Means under the chairmanship of Bill Thomas (R-CA).

For as long as he can remember, Jack has been passionate about giving back to this great country and the Grand Old Party. As a member of the Boy Scouts of America, he was awarded the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. While currently serving the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) as Secretary, in 2010 he was Campaign Chairman for the YRNF, Jack was the architect of its most successful GOTV program, deploying over 500 volunteers to 12 states, culminating in over 300,000 voter contacts to help elect 21 Governor, Senate, and Representative candidates in addition to countless other state and local elected officials.

While he has actively worked on campaigns at all levels of government, Jack is perhaps most proud of being named an Honorary citizen of Fort Smith, Arkansas – an award he received from the Democratic Mayor of Fort Smith for his “Dedication to the Republican Party.”

Jack is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, IL where he received a degree in Political Science, with High Honors. At DePaul, Jack was active in the fledgling College Republicans chapter, while simultaneously managing an IL State House Race. He is a Founding Father of the Iota Alpha Chapter of the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. Jack has also been honored for the “Political Science Thesis of the Year” by the DePaul chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, for his research on National Missile Defense.

Jack has completed the Republican National Committee’s Campaign Finance College, Managers and Marshall’s Program, and the Campaign Management College. He has also attended the year-long Congressional Research Service’s Legislative Process Institute, culminating with his election as House Majority Whip in the week-long mock Congress held every 2 years.

Jack has employed his deep knowledge of policy and elections as a guest lecturer at the College of DuPage and he has served on the Alexandria School Board Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention Advisory Committee.
